We are celebrating our 10th Anniversary!

We are delighted to be celebrating the 10th anniversary of the Weston Business Centre in Colchester, as we welcome another established East Anglian company as one of our tenants.

Here at the Weston Business Centre, Colchester in Hawkins Road, The Hythe, we take pride in having provided modern office solutions for hundreds of businesses since we first opened our doors. The centre was purpose built in January 2008 and is still going from strength to strength. It is currently the business base for over 60 companies.

“We have recently seen an increase in recruitment and care companies looking for office space,” said Chloe Gardner, the Sales and Marketing Executive. “We are unique in the office space that we offer, as we attract from small start up businesses to larger companies looking to relocate and everything in between!”

Cooper Lomaz Recruitment Limited already has offices in Bury St Edmunds and Norwich, and we are delighted that they will soon be joining our 40 tenants and 20 virtual tenants. Cooper Lomaz are opening their new Colchester branch, in one of our fully serviced state-of-the-art office at the Weston Business Centre, Colchester, in March.

The Weston Business Centre is a great place to work and three of the original staff are celebrating their 10th anniversary working for us. Business Centre Assistant Manager Julie Goriup, Operations Manager, Hayley Pillings and Receptionist Linda Turner all started work prior to its original opening.

Hayley said: “The Weston Business Centre is a great place to work as it is a bright modern purpose built facility. It’s lovely being part of the close team running the centre, but also the clients make us feel part of their individual teams, as we are here to support them.”

Julie said: “Working at the Centre while it grew, filling up with new clients, has been a very enjoyable time. Being part of their success as their businesses flourished is always rewarding. The diversity of these businesses makes the Centre an interesting place to work.”

The Weston Business Centre, Colchester, has hosted many business networking events, business startup workshops and more recently seminars on GDPR and Cybercrime.

Eric Sigsworth of Colchester Press is entering his 8th year at The Colchester Business Centre. He said: “Our visitors and clients find parking easy and are met with friendly, professional reception staff, helping make it a welcoming environment for them to drop-in to discuss their design & printing requirements.”

Que Prestige had an office at The Weston Business Centre when they were a start up business. Staff celebrated with a glass of bubbly and a press release about our 10th anniversary has appeared in various local media.
